Thin red cord with mother of pearl letters spelling out HAPPY, finished with gold ball tips and tassels instead of the usual sliding knot. The shell-like sheen on each letter catches light differently than solid gold beads — softer, more iridescent, closer to something you'd find washed up than something manufactured.
